Welp, due to unforeseen circumstances, i have to cover news from days 2 and 3 in one post.
So here they are, in no particular order and very unprofessionally.
Let me tell you the news based on what i have in my twitter bookmarks.
Day 2:
Marvel just teased the Fantastic Four movie with a drone show outside the convention center. I think that's actually pretty fucking awesome, my hype for this movie is unreal, and i hope that in 2025, my family is interested in watching this movie in theaters.
Ben 10 is getting a new comic book series by Dynamite, the guys that brought us Red Sonja... and something else, idk.
Disneyland California just introduced Story Time with Deadpool. Yes, bring your kids to Disneyland so they can see the character that constantly makes sex jokes and violently kills people. (Please don't try to tell me that deadpool is more than just sex jokes and internet memes, it's not gonna make me change my opinion on this dumbass character)
We got our first look at Invincible Season 3, now i'm not really a fan of super edgy dark super hero parodies but i know some people that do enjoy that kinda stuff and might be hyped for this.
C.B. Cebulski and Kevin Feige just talked about comics for a bit, i guess that's cool, this thread right here has the nitty gritty on the coolest (question mark) upcoming comic books.
We got more details on 8 Deaths of Spider-Man, and the suit featured in the comic looks... actually pretty awesome.
A Netflix exclusive Sailor Moon film just got announced, i know some people that are hyped for this. I don't have a Netflix subscription and i probably won't have one when this comes out, but it's still cool regardless.
There was a Deadpool 3 panel, which spoiled the film's biggest cameos, ONE DAY AFTER RELEASE. Are these guys fucking stupid? It's deadpool, what did i expect.
Whatever this is just got announced
Idk, it looks pretty stupid but i don't care because i don't read the latest comic books.
This post is already better than the one i made for Day 1.
DAY 3:
Hall H is an event where a bunch of fat smelly dumbasses sit in a room and listen to a bunch of millionaires talk about the next 20000 shitty movies that are in the works. It's happening today, Kevin Feige is gonna talk about Phase 5 and 6 of the MCU.
Superboy is gonna appear in season 3 of My Adventures With Superman. Neato!
Peacemaker Season 2 is in the works, which i think is... alright.
Facehuggers just showed up and someone got a chestburster exploding through him. Lol, sucks to be him.
The event ends tomorrow and still no fucking Sonic 3 Trailer
None of my wishes came true.
No one fucking cares, here is what was announced at Hall H.
There was a short panel for the new Captain America movie.
The Thunderbolts trailer was shown to a bunch of people that don't care about this movie.
Fantastic Four begins filming next tuesday.
Matt Shakman says that they went to their nearest desert to find the best rock to use for the thing... which was kinda unnecessary, just make a bunch of rock models and paint them orange.
The Fantasticar is gonna be there.
They showed pre-shoot material.
Michael Giacchino is composing the score for the movie.
A new title has been revealed
Also the cast is on stage
Galactus was shown.... woooow
I've had enough of talking about the FF movie, i'll just wait until they talk about something else.
the FF are appearing in the next Avengers movies
the fantasticar just picked up the cast
(Thanks discussingfilm)
They've found a director for the next 2 Avengers movies, the Russo Brothers again, which is fine, they did an alright job with Infinity War and Endgame.
New Logo for Secret Wars
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty has been renamed to Avengers: Doomsday.
What the fuck? Robert Downey Jr. is Doctor Doom? How the hell are they gonna do this? My guess is that since this is the Multiverse Saga, this is gonna be an AU where Iron Man became Doctor Doom. It seems that reactions online are pretty divided, some say this is the shittiest thing ever, some say it's alright, and some others like this... I'm part of the group of people that think it's alright, could've been a worse actor, and i'm curious as to how they're gonna do it.
That must've been the last MCU reveal because DiscussingFilm hasn't updated us on anything at the time of me writing.
Yeah, i doubt we're getting the nitty gritty on that Spider-Man 4 movie this Comic-Con... not like there's anything to reveal, they don't even have a director...
Danny RPK just said something about Downey Jr. fighting Tobey's Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, and if that happens, i'll actually cry in the theater, not because it's good, but because of how absolutely fucking shitty that would be. Nothing is sacred anymore, they should've never released No Way Home, people everywhere got the wrong idea and now everyone just keeps making shitty ass nostalgia bait. "Hey remember this guy from your childhood? He's back in this new product, now go buy it!" Is this what it's come to now?
Fuck this, Hall H is over and so is Days 2 and 3 of Comic-Con, come back tomorrow for even stupider shit.
