Spider-Plush Storytime: The Evil Spider-Man

Updated: Jan 18, 2023

Le Thumbnail.

This is how my story begins.

When i was 12 years old, i was really bored, i was also really stupid (i still am), and the best way to have fun is by creating something, so i stapled together a few pieces of paper and i drew a comic book about an evil Spider-Man, it was called… the evil spider-man (creativity wasn't invented yet 3 years ago.)

The first issue features his story, Spider-Man is the killer of uncle ben, he drops Gwen Stacy off the Brooklyn bridge on purpose and robs a few banks.

It was really bad.

The second issue features Spider-Man in his base, uncle Ben's ghost tells him that he should make a new costume, it kinda looks like the iron spider suit, it even has the robot spider legs, Spider-Man finds the hulk, in this universe, the hulk is happy, is actually intelligent and less destructive. Spider-Man, being an evil son of a bitch, shoots the hulk and kills him. The End.

I never made issue 3, but it was going to have Dr. Strange, in this universe, Stephen Strange lost his hands and now uses magic hands to perform surgeries and stop evil forces from other dimensions. Spider-Man kills everyone that tries to stop him, so he kills Dr. Strange with his gun in an epic battle.

After this synopsis, i ran out of ideas (again, i wasn't creative 3 years ago) and i cancelled it, so i made it a 2 issue mini-series.

The story had good ideas, but the dialogue was so horrible, the art was something that I would make when I was 5, i put literally 0 effort into any of the art, or any of the story.

I never showed these comics to anyone, i never released them on the internet. I never even spoke to anyone about it, one day i just forgot about these things, until a few months ago, i found issue 2, after many years trying to forget that i used to make poorly written and poorly drawn comics, i had found one of my attempts at being a comic book writer, i thought, "why did i cancel this?" Until i opened the comic book again. What i found was a really cringy story that had very little dialogue and it was really stupid. Phrases that sound like a bad shitpost reddit meme and i remembered why i stopped. I had to stop before i made tons of stories that i wasn't proud of making. Until i thought "i can make these comics better" so i took more pieces of paper, i drew more art in the same shitty art style and with only slightly better art style.

Issue 3 (for real) features the new technology suit getting destroyed by a mysterious figure. Spidey throws away the suit and wears the old one, which he just randomly found webbed up on a wall (like the backpacks in the PS4 game) and we end with a to be continued.

Issue 4 features the reveal of the mysterious figure, it's actually the WOLVERINE! In this universe, the wolverine is not immortal, in fact he is very vulnerable, but he's still a badass. Spider-Man finds wolverine and shoots him.

Next few issues feature other marvel characters and one original character.

Big thanks to you for reading my stupid article about how i suck at telling stories.
